Polyol production line equipment configuration

1. Reactor

• Material: stainless steel or carbon steel + anti-corrosion coating
• Jacket/pipe coil: thermal oil or steam heating
• Blade: anchor type, frame type, paddle type
• Processing: sandblasting on the outside, mirror polishing on the inside, corrosion resistance, easy to clean, beautiful appearance.

2. Metering system and feeding system

• Raw materials (propylene oxide, ethylene oxide, polyols, catalysts, etc.) are accurately metered
• Vacuum feeding, automatic control of feeding process

3. Vacuum degassing system

• Reduce moisture and low-boiling interference during the reaction
• Improve reaction purity and product stability

4. Condensation recovery system

• Recover unreacted monomers, reduce losses, environmental protection and energy saving

5. Control system

• PLC+touch screen controls key parameters such as temperature, pressure, time, stirring speed
• Supports automatic/semi-automatic production control

6. Storage tank and dishcarging system

• Finished product temporary storage tank, filling system, circulating cooling

How to choose the type of polyol?

1. Polyether polyol: more suitable for flexible foams and elastomers, simple process and relatively low cost.
2. Polyester polyol: more superior performance, good mechanical strength, heat resistance and chemical resistance, suitable for high-performance polyurethane products.
