What is alkyd resin?

Alkyd resin is an important synthetic resin, widely used in coatings, paints, wood coatings, anti-rust paints, industrial coatings and other fields.

Esterification reactor	Performs the polycondensation reaction between polyols and polyacids (or anhydrides)
Condenser	Recovers water or alcohol produced during the reaction to improve yield
Liquid storage tank	Cools resin and prepares solvents after production to adjust viscosity
Vacuum system	Improve reaction efficiency, lower reaction temperature, and prevent side reactions
Metering feeding system	Automatically and precisely controls raw material feeding to improve formulation consistency
Filter, discharge pump	Removes impurities and enables automatic discharge

Multi-stage vacuum dehydration system: High-temperature, rapid dehydration reduces residual acid and improves the stability of the finished resin.
High level of automation: Automated control of raw material metering, heating, dehydration, cooling and packaging reduces manual labor.
Environmentally friendly and explosion-proof: All equipment is available with optional explosion-proof motors, instruments, and control boxes to meet the needs of solvent-based production.
