Alkyd Resin Production Process

1. Raw material measurement and preparation

Vegetable oil/fatty acids, polyols, anhydrides, etc., are precisely measured according to the formula.

2. Esterification reaction

The mixture is heated to 220-260℃ in a reaction vessel to carry out the esterification reaction.

3. Dilution and blending

After esterification, a solvent is added for dilution to improve storage stability and fluidity.

4. Filtration and cooling

Impurities are removed through a basket filter or pipe filter, and then the product is cooled to storage temperature in a cooler.

5. Finished product storage and packaging

Finally, the product is transferred to storage tanks or directly to filling equipment for packaging.
